Who we are

DJ MAKONDE is a music platform for artists from across Mozambique. We publish songs, videos, albums and entertainment news for listening and downloading.

Information we collect

• Nothing personal for normal browsing. You can listen, watch and download without creating an account.
• Anonymous usage counts. We count plays and views per song or video. These counts are not linked to you.
• Notification permission. If you allow notifications, they are shown by your own browser or device. We do not upload contacts or device identifiers.
• Administrator sign-in. Only the site owner signs in (with Google) to manage content. Their email is stored to verify access.

How we use it

Only to run the service: show trending content, display play and view counts, deliver new-content notifications and secure the admin area. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.

Third-party content

Videos and some audio are hosted on YouTube and play through YouTube's player, which follows Google's own privacy policy. Downloads may open external converter websites that we do not control.

Children

The app is for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

You can turn off notifications at any time in your browser or Android settings, and clear locally stored data by clearing site data or uninstalling the app.
